4. Numerical Model

The model atmosphere is 2-D anelastic system.
The effect of rotation are not considered.
The subgrid turbulent mixing is calculated as Klemp and Wilhelmson (1978). 
The surface fluxes are given by the bulk formula (Louis, 1979).

Atmospheric radiation is calculated by a Narrow band model (Savijarvi, 1991).
Near infrared: 4.3, 2.7, 2.0μm	Infrared: 15μm

The surface temperature is calculated by 1D thermal conduction equation.
The values of physical parameters are constant (Kieffer et al., 1977).

Topography is not considered.
