Description

The objective of this website is to present the results of Line-By-Line Radiative Transfer Model (LBLRTM, Clough et al., 1992; Clough and Iacono, 1995) calculations for a selection of the Intercomparison of Radiation codes in Climate Models (ICRCCM, Ellingson and Fouquart, 1991) project cases. All the results presented here are obtained with version 8.4 of the LBLRTM available at Atmospheric and Environmental Research Inc. website. The LBLRTM programs were compiled with PGI f90 on LINUX paltform. The ICRCCM cases chosen for this website are listed in the following table. To obtain the radiances and fluxes profiles shown in the table, ten calls to the LBLRTM were required for each case. The input files to the LBLRTM are given here for information.
